General Overview

Ok, the point of this blog is to find good cheap vegetarian food in San Francisco. To that end, I have also included some chain food eateries and the items that could be ordered which are vegetarian. I have made notations about the cooking where possible and if other non vegetarian items were similairly priced (for people who are dining with friends/companions who are not vegetarian).

I have tried to include places under $10.00 (tier one), $10.00-$15.00 (tier two), and then $15-$20.00 (tier three). Splurge places are over $20.00.

I have made notations about whether the place is sit down or self serve and the price categories are the total, which means a 15-20% tip has also been calculated in the price.

Also, some of the sit down resturants came to the second tier price range if I added a beverage, non alcoholic or alcoholic. I made note of that too. If I visited the place more than once I reviewed each visit or each selection.
